Barratt Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2022 is a classic, full-bodied style highlighting fruit from three premium vineyards - Kuitpo, Paracombe, and Mt Torrens - with full malolactic fermentation and nine months in French oak. The wine opens with ripe lemon skin, yellow peach, mango jelly, marigold and sunflower kernels, supported by roast macadamia and a creamy, buttered popcorn feel. Fleshy, toasty and nutty, it finishes with praline echoes and carries a gentle acidity for freshness.
