Brash Higgins NDV Nero d'Avola 2023 is a benchmark amphora-aged natural wine from McLaren Vale's Omensetter Vineyard, organically farmed and Australia's original Nero d'Avola planting. The wet 2023 season produced low yields and fresh acidity, with fruit hand-picked in early March after a favorable warm February. It has a deep crimson hue, richly aromatic with notes of mezcal, black cherry, tomato, Indian spices, stem ginger, and a distinctive orange peel complexity.
