Cape Mentelle Two Vineyards Shiraz, from Margaret River (Western Australia), is a masterful shiraz blend overseen by Cape Mentelle’s winemaking team. Deep dark plum with purple edges, it greets with aromas of black savoury plums, Middle Eastern spices (nutmeg, cinnamon), vanilla bean, and a wisp of smoke. The palate is rich and expansive: satsuma plum, salted chocolate, licorice, flint and tea-leaf tones, lifted by sensual, mouth-coating tannins and supported by a strong saline minerality.
