Carrick ‘The Magnetic’ Pinot Noir, masterfully made by Carrick’s winemaker at their organic estate in Bannockburn, Central Otago, New Zealand. Sourced from a single block and single Abel clone (smuggled from Burgundy!), hand-picked and wild-fermented, the wine spent 28 days on skins before 9 months' ageing in barrels (15% new oak). The bouquet exudes wild thyme, sage, blackcurrant, cherry, and dried raspberry with earthy oak complexity.
