The 2021 Charlish & Co Shiraz Viognier, crafted by chef‑winemaker Rebecca Stubbs (with Duane Coates MW) from Langhorne Creek in the Adelaide Hills, balances power with finesse. The wine’s nose shows brooding dark plum, blackberry and apricot kernel, spiced with black pepper, fennel and subtle vanillin oak. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and juicy, offering juicy dark fruits woven with floral jasmine and savoury herb notes - think cassis, black olive and cedar.
