Domaine Bernard Levet Côte‑Rôtie Améthyste 2020 is a dark, savoury northern Rhône syrah that blends several Côte Brune and Côte Blonde parcels into a powerful yet refined “house” cuvée. The nose is all cassis, blackberry and bitter cherry with violet, pepper, smoked meat and liquorice. The palate is medium‑plus in body, dense but silky, with chewy ripe tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy, mineral finish, best from 2026 onwards or after a solid decant.
