Domaine de Chatillon Vin de Savoie Rosé 2023, crafted by winemaker Fabien Danjoy in Chautagne, Savoie, is a vivid expression of Gamay (with a whisper of Pinot Noir) from alpine-grown vines around Lac de Bourget. Salmon-tinted and bright, it opens with aromas of cherry, raspberry and blood orange, layered with mountain herbs and a slatey mineral thread. On the palate it is dry, lithe and mouthwatering, carrying crisp acidity and vivid red fruit, finishing with a dry, tangy mineral lift.
