Gaelic Cemetery McAskill Shiraz 2019 by Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard from Clare Valley shows plump dark cherry, blood plum and elderberry flavours edged with warm baking spice and a touch of oak-vanilla. Aromas of cranberry, subtle clove and soft cedar rise from the glass, while fine-grained tannins and lively acidity build to a long, powerful and polished finish. It was awarded 95 points by Halliday Wine Companion and 96 points in Winestate Wine of the Year Awards 2021.
