Gala Estate Pinot Noir Black Label 2018 from Tasmania’s East Coast is a quietly luxurious pinot, all about purity, finesse and regional character in the glass. Aromas lean to dark cherry and red berry, with gentle spice, dried rose, forest floor and a touch of fine oak adding savoury depth. On the palate it’s medium‑bodied, silky and beautifully poised, with ripe cherry, raspberry and subtle plum wrapped in vibrant acidity and very fine tannins for a long, savoury finish.
