This is an opulent, iconic Barossa Shiraz with waves of dark cherry, blackberry pastille and dark plum, laced with thyme, oregano, violets and a lick of mocha and cocoa for added aromatic complexity. The palate is richly layered and intensely concentrated yet beautifully balanced, delivering inky black fruits, fruitcake spice and earthy depth wrapped in fine,grained, ferrous tannins that drive a long, savoury, mineral,threaded finish and immense cellaring potential.
