Jean Etienne Chermette Vdf Pinot Noir “Champs Blancs” 2022 is a lively, crunchy pinot grown on clay‑limestone soils at Légny in the Pierres Dorées, Beaujolais, where the variety keeps its lift and fine structure. It’s labelled Vin de France, but very much a precise, terroir‑driven wine. The grapes are mostly whole‑bunch (around two‑thirds), with the rest destemmed, then given about eight days’ maceration in concrete, before ageing mainly in stainless steel with a small portion in new oak.
