Kurtz Family Charlie’s Grenache 2022 from the Barossa Valley is a bold, aromatic Grenache off centenarian bush vines in the deep sands of Kalimna, very much a Shiraz‑drinker’s Grenache with serious old‑vine concentration. This Charlie’s Grenache 2022 is rich, textural and expressive, honouring Barossa legend Charlie Braunack and his 1895‑planted vines. In the glass, expect bright, deep cherry‑red colour with fragrant cherry, raspberry, loganberry and pomegranate, lifted by Szechuan pepper, star anise, dried orange peel and red liquorice, all gently framed by seasoned French oak.
