Chapoutier Shay’s Flat Vineyard Block A3 Shiraz 2021 from Victoria’s Pyrenees is a dark, brooding single‑block Shiraz that channels high‑country altitude and schist‑quartz soils into a seriously refined, Rhone‑styled Aussie red. It’s powerful yet beautifully composed, one for the serious Shiraz drinkers. In the glass, expect deep dark red colour with purple hues, a bright, complex nose of blueberry, blackberry and dark cherry, laced with black olive, tobacco, violet, liquorice and white pepper.
