Chapoutier Tournon Landsborough Vineyard Grenache Shiraz Touriga 2017 from Victoria’s Pyrenees is a rich, Rhône‑inspired blend, bringing together Grenache’s lift, Shiraz’s depth and Touriga’s spice into a dark, almost opaque, seriously impressive red. In the glass, expect brilliant deep red colour with aromas of bonfire smoke, blackberry, blackcurrant and bright berry fruits, layered with violets, liquorice, allspice and clove. The palate is full‑flavoured and powerful, packed with ripe dark fruits, sweet spice and savoury edges, carried by fine yet persistent tannins and a long, moreish, dry finish.
