In the glass, this Mac Forbes Yarra Valley Syrah 2023 shows a vibrant red-dark cherry colour with lifted aromatics of florals, graphite, spice and both red and black peppercorns. The palate is all poached red plum, cherry, subtle liquorice and wild herb notes over fine, chalky tannins and vivid acidity, finishing savoury, peppery and incredibly moreish at just 12% alcohol.
