The Montalto Single Vineyard “North One” Pinot Noir 2023/2024, crafted by Simon Black in the Mornington Peninsula (Mornington & Red Hill sub-zones), is a refined and expressive cool-climate Pinot. Aromas of wild strawberry, pomegranate, rose petal and an earthy undercurrent of forest floor and negroni spice unfold gracefully. On the palate it’s mid-weighted with juicy red cherry, Cranberry and a subtle herbal lift, framed by silky, powder-fine tannins, bright acidity and a slatey, stony minerality.
