Montefili Bruno di Rocca 2017 from Vecchie Terre di Montefili in Tuscany is a powerful yet finely tailored Super Tuscan, built on mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a dash of Sangiovese for lift and energy. Hints of graphite, liquorice, menthol and crushed rock add a distinctly stony, Tuscan edge. On the palate, Bruno di Rocca 2017 is full‑bodied, voluminous and still tightly coiled, with concentrated dark fruit, savoury earth and a firm spine of chalky, grippy tannin.
