Murdoch Hill Red Blend 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot (6 Bottles), Adelaide Hills

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Merlot and 10% Shiraz from Murdoch Hill's Oakbank vineyard at 420 metres ASL in the Adelaide Hills. The grapes are sourced from a predominately east-facing slope, which avoids the harsh afternoon sun and produces cool, savoury wines with more finesse. The soil structure here is predominately sandy loam over medium clay, with varying levels of ironstone, quartz and schist rock.
