Penny's Hill Single Vineyard Shiraz 2022 from McLaren Vale is a luxurious, terroir-driven Shiraz off the high‑density Skeleton Key Block, showing perfume, spice and beautifully pure red and blue fruits over serious structure. The palate is concentrated yet focused, rich and layered, with fine, purposeful tannins, a cool‑site lift from its 140 m elevation, and a long, elegantly shaped finish that speaks to 15 months in quality French oak. It’s already highly rated (top 20 of 2022 McLaren Vale Shiraz) and will reward cellaring well into the 2030s.
