Plantagenet ‘Aquitaine’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 by Plantagenet from Mount Barker shows lush dark chocolate and blackcurrant flavours layered with black olive, sweet cherry and subtle cedar-oak spice. Aromas of dark berry, tobacco leaf and dried herbs rise from the glass, while firm, ripe tannins give structure and oak is smoothly integrated. It was awarded 94 points by Sam Kim (WinePilot) and 93 points by Ray Jordan.
