Praeter Spring White 2025 is a field blend wine from the Magpie Block in the Southern Fleurieu region, made from Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Savagnin grapes grown on an east-northeast facing sandy loam and quartz over limestone site. The Chardonnay component is fermented in amphora, while Savagnin and Pinot Blanc are fermented in seasoned French oak hogsheads. The wines are left on lees for four months before blending and bottling to preserve freshness, minerality, and the immediacy of the young vintage.
