Aromas of star anise, cassia, dried herbs and a hint of vanillin oak rise from the glass, while cool-climate acidity balances the mouth-filling fruit, finishing polished, structured and built for cellaring. It was awarded 96 points by Philip Rich in the Halliday Wine Companion.
