Robert Stein 3rd Generation Chardonnay 2023 from Mudgee is a richer‑styled country NSW Chardonnay that still keeps things tidy and balanced, offering plenty of flavour without feeling clumsy. Aromas layer up ripe peach, citrus and grapefruit with subtle lees, nuttiness and light toast. On the palate it’s creamy and fleshy, showing stone fruit, grapefruit and soft spice wrapped in leesy, nutty complexity and well‑judged oak, finishing clean, crisp and satisfying rather than heavy, with good mid‑palate weight and freshness.
