The wine shows aromas of plum jam, Turkish delight, raspberry and warm spice - black pepper and cinnamon - alongside a metallic note of rusted iron. On the palate it is mid-weight, juicy and generous, with succulent red berries balanced by a tannic structure that is both chewy and well-defined. Six months in oak adds depth without overwhelming freshness.
