Scout 2019 Waipara Glasnevin Riesling (6 Bottles) Waipara, New Zealand

Needless to say, when we were offered fruit from some of the oldest vines in Waipara, our favourite NZ region for Riesling, she was very excited! Very mature vines, grown on the Glasnevin gravels near the Waipara river, the fruit was handpicked and gently crushed. The resulting wine is intensely aromatic with bright green apple and white florals, while the palate shows juicy grapefruit with complexity from the barrel aging.
