The 2021 Nebbiolo from Beechworth leads with rose petals and dried flowers, asphalt and ozone, dried rosemary and a hint of tobacco, graphite and black tea, black cherry and brine. On the palate, the wine is sensational; it offers us everything from the bouquet but framed in fine, willowy tannins that grip and are chalky across the palate. It's firm, precise, tight, floral, mineral and almost febrile and ethereal.
