The Sherrah Wines Bush Vine Grenache 2023 - made by Alex Sherrah from 60-year-old bush vines on the outskirts of McLaren Flat (on the border of Blewitt Springs & Kurrajong geologies, McLaren Vale) - is a debut single-vineyard masterpiece. Wild berries, cherry and red liquorice are framed by rustic spice, dried herbs, and a dusting of red earth. Its structure is supported by fine-boned tannins, lively acidity, 20% whole bunch inclusion and 12 months maturation in seasoned French puncheons.
