Sherrah Wines Chenin Blanc 2024/2025 (12 Bottles) McLaren Vale

The Sherrah Wines Chenin Blanc 2024 from the Willamba vineyard in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, just ~15 km inland, shows off winemaker Alex Sherrah’s deft hand with 30-year-old vines grown on a mix of sand, loam over clay. Harvested in the cool before dawn, with brief skin contact and fermented half in seasoned oak, it rested on lees for 3-4 months. The wine offers aromas of lemon zest, white peach, yellow apple and tropical lift, underpinned by a waxy-chalky minerality.
