Hand-picked, destemmed only, fermented on whole berries with a four-day cold soak and 14 days on skins, it matures six months in older small format oak. Bright red berry fruit - think cherry, raspberry - with a complex undercurrent of dried herbs and spice. The palate is medium-bodied with refreshing acidity, polished fine tannins and a structured finish.
