The Silent Way Serpens Semillon/Chardonnay 2023 from the Quarry Ridge vineyard in Kilmore (Macedon Ranges, Victoria), crafted by winemaker Matt Harrop, is a textured and expressive white blend. Fermented and matured on lees in French hogsheads and puncheons, it delivers a vibrant nose of white stone fruit, grapefruit and lemon myrtle, with lifted florals. On the palate its bright acidity is electric, with rich texture, juicy citrus, subtle guava, and a mineral thread that carries through a long finish.
