The palate is richly concentrated and textural, delivering plush black cherry and plum, savoury spice, coal‑dust and fine cedar, all wrapped in satiny, mouth‑coating tannins and a long, poised finish that screams long‑term cellaring. Food‑wise, it’s made for serious dishes, think rib‑eye on the bone, slow‑braised beef cheeks, lamb shoulder or venison, and it’s superb with aged hard cheeses on the table.
