Borgo Pass is located in Monroe Oregon, in the Southern part of the Willamette Valley. The vines were planted in the 1980’s. Mark Debose. Jan O’Banion on their 40+ acre vineyard where they also grow Pinot Noir, Gamay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris. Chardonnay. Their business model was to only sell to hobby winemakers, because Mark didn’t want to “deal with persnickety winemakers or sign contracts and all that gobbledygook.
