Vine Mind Shiraz & Friends SGM, crafted. Colin McBride. Jen Gardner under the Vine Mind label in Clare Valley’s Springfarm sub-region, is a thoughtfully blended quartet. Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro. Malbec. Hand-harvested vines aged 5-100 years grow on red sand over clay and slate at 450 m elevation. Cool concrete fermentation followed by 16 months in neutral oak yields fragrant aromas of violets, cassia, ink and roses.
