Warramate Syrah 2023, produced. Sarah Crowe in the Yarra Valley (Victoria), is a cool-climate shining example. Syrah with elegance and depth. Grown on old vine plantings (1970 & 2000). SA1127, 1654. ESA3021 clones, ~20% whole-bunch adds lift and stalk tannin. Aromas of violets, mixed plums and subtle pink pepper sparkle, underpinned by smoky charcuterie and liquorice spice.
