Yarra Yering Light Dry Red Pinot Shiraz 2023, crafted. Sarah Crowe in the cool-climate Yarra Valley, is a beguiling blend of 50% Pinot Noir (vines planted 1981) and 50% Shiraz (Waterloo block, 1995). It opens with aromas of rose petal, blue violet and summer pudding of mixed berries. On the palate it is delicately plush and fragrant, with a light touch enhanced by stalk-fermentation - adding a faint smoky grip - balanced by fine tannins and a driving finish.
