Yelland & Papps Limited Cuvée Shiraz 2023 is a premium, small-batch wine sourced from the Old Bamboo Vineyard in Greenock, planted in the 1960s and managed by grower David Materne. The 2023 vintage was wild yeast fermented, basket pressed, and matured for 24 months in 50% new French oak on lees, resulting in a wine with refined structure, vibrant fruit, and depth. Aromas include blackcurrant, plum, bilberries, carob, coffee grinds, licorice, tanned leather, and long pepper, complemented by dried bay leaf and oregano.
