Stunning fresh, and dark cherry ripe aromas, subtle spice, and fresh peppercorns, with a lightness and brightness. Great length of the palate with texture and elegance and lightness with a touch of aniseed. A wet start to winter followed by a dry mild spring and summer led to a longer and slower ripening period delaying the start of vintage by a week or two.
